This program offers annually two awards of $100, one for best poster and one for best presentation, for one of the undergraduate conferences/meetings in Biology for each of he five (5) regions of Canada: Atlantic region, Québec, Ontario, Prairies and Territories, and British Columbia. The awards will be presented for the best presentation by an undergraduate student in the discipline of Botany at one of the major regional undergraduate conferences. The purpose of this recognition is to encourage undergraduate students to pursue graduate research in botany and to enhance the visibility of the Association. If no presentation in Botany is scheduled, the money returns to the Association. Students cannot apply directly to the CBA/ABC for these awards.
